During
Construction we posted these updates for our future renters.
For historical purposes
we wanted to leave these available on the website. You can
see how things went during
construction (PS we finished 1 week early!). The house was
completed, furnished, and
ready for renters on Feb 24, 2005. Everything in the house
is new so come and enjoy
the Eagle Crest Resort's newest chalet vacation rental.

Central Oregon Getaway Nearing Completion: 1/21/2005
Our vacation rental located in the Eagle Crest Resort Chalet
will be completed two weeks ahead of
schedule on February 18, 2005! We will be taking posession
of the chalet on
Feb. 18, 2005 and will have it furnished and ready for your
vacation on March 1, 2005.
We would like to thank our builder Sun Forest Construction
for their amazing work and
craftsmanship on the chalet and for finishing ahead of schedule!
March is now available
so reserve your
dates.
Vacation Rental Update: 1/16/2005
Our Chalet is the final one being built
in Eagle Crest and so will always be the newest!
To commemorate the completion of all the Eagle Crest chalet's,
the builder (Sun Forest
Construction) and The Eagle Crest Resort will be having a
ceremony at our chalet. We will
post pictures here of the ceremony once it is done.
Construction Progress Update: 1/13/2005
Major construction on the house been
competed. All of the custom woodworking inside the
vacation rental is done. The cabinets, lodge pole stairways,
solid pine doors and bi-folds,
and all solid knotty pine accents are finished. All of the
lodge pole and other pine accents were
sanded and sealed this Wednesday. The outside of the house
is scheduled to be painted when
they get weather warm enough for it (there was snow on the
ground there this weekend).
We will be moving in the 1st weekend of March and the house
will be ready for renters in mid-
March. The newest pictures of the rental are posted above.
Construction Progress Update:
12/30/2004
The outside of the house is 95% finished
with painting, staining, and final finish work left to do.
The inside of the house has been sheet rocked and is painted.
Work is now being started
on the cabinets, and rest of the custom carpentry work (lodge
pole pine accents and railings,
solid pine trim and cabinets). We are estimating the construction
will be completed the first
week in Feb. and the decorator will be in the next week and
we hope to have all of the furniture,
electronics, appliances, etc. completed the next couple of
weeks. The custom lodgepole pine
bed room and living room furniture has been started and will
be completed by the move in date.
As soon as we have a final date will update the Rental
Availability Calendar and once the house is
ready, we will update this page with all the photos of the
house.
